I've checked with the owner: he can't see any problems with August & October - dogs welcome, kids on a lead... 
I should be able to borrow a gas barbeque; will know by next week. There's a maybe of having a bonfire laid on as well. ---------------------- |

I have always wanted to come to one of the meets, so as this one is only about 1.5 hrs from my house I will try and talk the So here's hoping, Have to get the van ready first for the end off April or a load of scouts wont be able to go canoeing, but not sure I have the time to get it ready. But I can hope

Thinking service meet- it would certainly be a good opportunity to discuss there what would be involved and perhaps start to get an idea of kit, bits n stuff. Even if its another year before the first service meet, we could start getting sorted. ---------------------- |

Gas barbecue is sorted. Bring your own grub, or it may just as easy to club together & nip to the local shops or supermarket. We can have a bonfire if we can find enough stuff to burn; anything on site will be for the 40th Rossendale Scouts November 5th do so that's to be left alone.
