Hello

Hi All,
My girlfriend and I have just bought a 1985 CF Autosleeper. It's our first camper and our first experience of a Bedford CF (other than the mini bus my cub scout pack had back in the late 80's ).
We opted for the CF over other brands for its value for money, space and classic styling - and who wants to pay over the odds for pokey VW anyway!?
The van it's self is very solid having had new arches, doors and respray done last year by it's previous owner. The work to do is largely with the camper interior. The previous owner had stripped it out and had got about 2/3 of the way through refitting it before selling it.
I have most of the bits, but I'm not 100% certain where some bits came from, and also the seating boxes are not original and not how I would like them.
If anyone has got a panel van type autosleeper (not coach built) that wouldn't mind sharing some pictures of the interior I would be greatful. I'm particularly interested to learn how the seatboxes should be so that the table drops between them to form the bed.

We are both really looking forward to getting our van back up to scratch over the next few weeks so we can get out and about it over the summer;]

Tom.

Hello Rally Tom and welcome.

Can't help you with the pics as its out of my field of expertise. My field of expertise is generally asking members of the club whether my engine is alright on an almost daily basis.

Someone else will come along and help you out in time though. Maybe post some pics of what you have in the meantime. Everyone gets excited about pics of newly purchased beddies.

;D

Hi, Rally Tom,

My van is an autosleeper with a pop up roof. I may be able to help with some interior stuff although mine is being refurbed at the mo and it isn't all inside. I take it you have the seats that can either be forward facing or side facing bench seats? They make either 2 singles or one double across the van.I shall try and get pics of the best side for you. Alena

Hi Spookytim, thanks for your welcome. I now know where to come if need to start worrying about my engine then
I'll try and get some pictures up early next week (I'm away at the w/e).

Hi Alena, My auto sleeper has the fixed hi top roof, but from the pictures/ads I've seen I think the layout is the same below the gutter line.
Honest answer on the seat configuration is I don't know I think they are only meant to be inward facing benches, but all I am going on is the current configuration and the original seat cusions. It's probably best I take some pictures and hopefully you can enlighten me
Many thanks
Tom.

@ bluebedouin
Thanks. I stumbled upon this brochure last week, and basically yes this is what we've got, appart from the seat configuration in the back which I now know is not original. The only other difference is that ours is the fixed high top.
What and where is Willerseys? Could I get the bits I'm missing here?

@ DAVE ADVANTURA
Thanks, joined after my first post

@ Mikey Boy - Thanks for the welcome.
@ winchman - Will sort photo's out this week, hopefully tonight.

Sorry,I should have been more specific. The company that did that conversion are based in Willersey, near Broadway. They're still going and might have older bits laying around or plans of.
