Am i blind?

I have joined many other owners clubs and sites at one time or another and can always see the "View my posts" option quite clearly, but here i just cant seem to find the link for it.

If like me you like to ask many questions and have many posts then trying to remember where they all are will become a pain so surely this option must be available.........somewhere? maybe?

:C

The easiest way to see yours or any users posts is to click the number underneath the username.

Only problem with that is once you reach a certain number of posts it doesn't display them all.

edit:
I've just had a look at mine & out of 1190 only 800 are showing.

Maybe i worded it incorrectly, but what i am looking for is an option to list the posts that you have made and not just contributed to.

So one button would be "view your posts" and the other "View your topics". Sorry for the confusion, but to be able to navigate clearly and easily some one should maybe look into this..... :)

I'm not certain but I think there is no facility for what you want on this board, its the software.

When I first started out on forums and joined http://forums.turbobricks.com/ I got really used to the forum layout, but not all forums run on the same software, some are fairly hard to navigate.

That's because it doesn't take into account threads that have been deleted over the years in areas where threads are deleted after 'x' number of days such as general chat. It just displays the total posts you have made since you registered.

It's not something that's ever been requested before. I'll look into it for the next release of the software. The hardest part is deciding where to stick the buttons
You can list all your posts as Graham says by clicking on the number displayed or click on the [Search] link and do an author search.

I've never understood why people use that software. It's $195

It'll be added soon. I'm just testing the next version of the forum software before it goes live on here. I'm halfway through adding it. The 'Your Threads' list has been added, just programming the 'Your Posts' section.

At the moment it'll only be available in the [Profile] section until I can work out where to put the links without making things look too overcrowded

Excellent.

Conventionlly, on most other forums i have participated in these options have been at the top right hand side of the forum once you log in. i guess its so that the lazy amongst us dont have to look much further than that. lol. but an option for these anywhere would be very good.

Cheers
Gaz

just another thought, will there be a live chat option? like an inbuilt simple msn type feature.

It may also encourage members to become full members if done correctly and becomes usefull. When i was a member of the GTO forums they had a live chat function whereby all registered members could chat in a "pop up" box whilst browsing the forums. Full members could use it as much as they liked where as members only registered to the site had a 1 week trial after whcih they had to become fully paid up members to continue use or loose the chat option.

Most paid as it was quite usefull for quick resolves.

Regards
Gaz

If you click on the [Profile] link at the top right of any screen you can now list either all your own posts or all your own threads

Is this still under test as I've logged in to my profile to give it a try and I got a message saying database error and contact the administrator. Just letting you know there may be a problem

Can you try it again. If there's a database errror it's usually a very temp error on the server side. As you were able to post your message (which also accesses the database) then I assume it's cleared itself
