bedford hav on unleaded

hi anyone know if a 1982 bedford ha van with a 1256cc engine will run ok on unleaded petrol

our advantura cf is 1982 and has a inline thing fitted that means we can run unleaded but we also put redex in just in case but im sure you'll get a more in-depth answer from one or 2 other members that know exactly wot is best .
