Hello Phil,
There's a rumour going round that the local health complaint is trench foot and web toes. I do not believe this vicious rumour; I shall be staying in my diving bell only to emerge for fresh air and daylight.

Looking good, less than four weeks to go now. Hopefully we will pick up some late arrivals nearer the date. Should be great meeting up with some new and old faces.

Only a week left before I need to book a Portaloo.

The thing is, do we need one this time?

Hi Phil a portaloo would be handy but as nearly everyone has pota pottis themselves and can empty them up at Teds providing they dont have the blue chemicals in I personally dont think its worth the expence this time.

You've got a bathroom? In your van? I've got running water in all my rooms but that's just down the windows

An executive decision

In absence of any objections to not hiring a Portaloo I've gone and done just that - I've not done anything about it because of the cost.

Alternative for anyone doesn't have on-board facilities is Winfields where there's a cafeteria as well as loos. Good breakfast according to Rae & Ann. (Rae & Ann, is it much of a walk to Winfields the way you found?)

Hello Phil,
Well we spent a week last year on the hill at Ted's and every morning Ann and myself would trot down for our breakfast and to use the amenities available; in other words...the bog. Good food, clean toilets. It's about a twenty minute walk on very picturesque paths, some can be a little uneven but you're soon on to a very quiet single track road.

The devious side of me is thinking "YOu could save a fair bit of walking by investing in some pedal bin bags and a cheap daysack" but I know the intense rustling in the cubicle would raise suspicions!

Creative thinking. Theoretically good, practically dangerous.

Ill get my coat.
