Hello and looking for history

Hi Everyone - Paul & Sarah (aka Tom & Barbara) here, we have just recently joined the Bedford CF world by purchasing our first campervan, a 1972 coach build CF250. Lots of small jobs and a few larger one to address before we attampt any long journeys, have already made a good contact in Adrian Bailey, very helpful and speedy delivery.

We purchased the camper from the estate of a deceased person and have absolutely no history on it. It appears to have last been on the road in 2008 and came from the Taunton area. It currently has the reg NJT293H but was previously EKP728L (changed about 2007). If anyone has any info on the van or previous owners it would be most appreciated.

Barbara is working on a blog of how a couple of novices take on the challenge of buying and running an old Bedford. Will add a link when I find where to do it.

ttfn Tom

You really ought to christen your van Margo if you're going to insist on the Tom & Barbara monikers.

Anyway, hello and welcome to the club. From the avatar, your van ... erm.. Margo? ... looks like a grand old bird. I hope both have lots of fun keeping her in fine fettle and runnign her about the country.

You'll find lots of advice here, not sure you'll find any history on your van, but you never know. Everything else though... there's always someone here with an answer.

Registration details

If it's of any help, the registration number details I have here, indicate that the EKP one originated in Kent and the current NJT one came from Dorset. Hope this may be of use. Cheers and welcome from John and Sue.

Indeed we did name the camper Margot, before assuming Tom & Barbara for ourselves.

Hi Tom and Barbara,

Welcome to the best Bedford Club on the Net - actually probably the best Bedford Club in the World! If the Beddy is Margo (wonderful) who or where is Jerry?
