cheers John old son never ends does it lol

i saw an analogy some where where a boat owner said that if you like standing in a room ripping up £50 notes you would like sailing

i think on it like this with beddies only i rip up £10/£20 lol

Hi guy to be fair I think we have done ok my van was only £750 with a private plate valued at a grand. We have only spent about £500 on ours in 3 years but now we are down to cosmetic items on the motorhome body as you have found its not just cost but finding bits you can use. Cheers john

Yes that's the main problem with parts for motor caravan bodies as most in the past were made of aluminium whereas now a day there made of fibre glass and don't have the same parts.

ok im sorted and this is how i did it ......i got some square plastic gutter tube and then used one off the van as a template and using a mutitool craft thing with a disc cutting tool i cut the right size out then my wife who has asbestos fingers and using boiling water in a frying pan bent it in all the right places ....
now its not perfect BUT it works lol i have a few prototypes left so if you would like some let me know and ill send you a couple they not great but with a bit of bending in hot water its better than none and they look okish
