Clutch adjuster, then broke !!

I was adjusting the clutch earlier ,as it was spinning when trying to
go up hill.
Then it snapped !!! About an inch from the adjusting nuts.

SO, how easy is it to get the part.? It looks like a kind of fork shape,
about 8 or 9 inches long.

Thank you.

Is this the one?

If it is,as you can see someone has ground a piece out of it.

If you can get a welder to fill the gaps it should be okay.(I think!)
You can have it for postage costs if so.

Hello mate, thanks , but that isn't it. I reckon my way of explaining
parts is wrong !!!!!

It's the threaded rod that the 2 nuts, one domed, are at the end to adjust the
play of the clutch.
I'm hoping it's just the rod that needs replacing, i'll go back to the van in a bit and check.

And after looking closer at your picture, the part that snapped is the
piece that goes through the hole in your part. If that explains it !!

The snapped part is at the top where the 2 bolts are missing. It is all shaped like a long h, or upside down y.

Someone please give it a name , so i can get a new one !!!!!

Easy solution . . . . .
look in your bit box for a bolt or a bit of threaded rod that the nuts will fit.

Get it welded on to the remaining bit.

Does anyone know the actual name for this part please ? A parts supplier
wants the name of it, not my description !!! Thank you.

I'd hazard a guess at clutch push rod.

Can't really tell from your picture,is the clevis end threaded? What I mean is,is the clevis removable from the rod?If so take it off get a length of threaded rod to size & stick it on there.Job done.

Even if it's not removable you could always buy a threaded clevis & rod to fit.
Have a look here for the right size.

All sorted now. Managed to track one day, found it in a 350 . Now the van
is running like a good 'un. !!

Also, anyone in need of any 350 parts, give us a shout. I'll see if he has them to sell ( he's breaking one )
