Manual door locking system help

Hi I am a novice and new owner of a restored c f camper van 1982.I know very little and would appreciate some advice on a few teething problems.
Both the manual locking systems are difficult to work and the passenger side has know broken so when you put the key in the inner part comes out with the key,!!I would like to get this fixed ASAP.Do I need a specialist or would any mechanic be able to fix this.

any decent mechanic should be able to repair the door locks on your Beddy.

depending on the handles you have fitted then replacements can be found from the clubs auction site
