MOT time again

I haven't been on here in a while but it's the only place to come to consult the Beddy Gurus
I've just done my MOT (it's called DOE in Ireland).
There weren't too many fail points.

3 new rear tyres (twin wheel axle) these were cracked with old age, as they were on it when I got it 7 years ago.

Hole in the exhaust Got this welded.

Top suspension ball joint: could anyone look at the picture and tell me if this is a standard one. Because my beddy is an ambulance my axle is peculiar cos it had a 4 wheel drive set up. The guy doing the tyres chased down a Quentin Hazel part no. QSJ835S. Anyone know if this is right??

Imbalance in the rear brakes of 50%. There was a bit of adjustment on one side so I thought this would sort it out but it failed on 60% this time. This happened a couple of years ago and it seemed to be something to do with the load sensing valve. I've had a guy look at that and he says it seems to be working fine. Is this valve really necessary now that it's a camper. I wonder if I would have less problems of imbalance with out it? Has anyone else had problems like this and removed it? I can't think of what else to do except maybe relace shoes cylinders and still maybe see it go down when it goes on the rolling road.

Any advice greatly received.
Sorry for the long rambling post
Micheal

Have a look through the pictures on our Auction Site. There are some there that I can list for you if they're the correct ones.I'm just nipping out but I'll crossmatch part numbers when I get back.

Looks like the only ones in the club parts are lower ball joints.
Have a look at this site for cross matches.
Sometimes the smaller motor factors come up trumps.A few years back I asked for some air filters for the opel 2.3 diesel in a small shop in Hemel Hempstead. They had one on the back of a shelf covered in dust.It wasn't on the computer system so he didn't know the price.I said I'd paid a fiver for the last one so that's what he charged me.

top ball joint will be the same as standard top ball joints.

the only time you will have to worry about is when the lower ones go as these are like hens teeth
