Roof mouldings for a Freeway I have been unsuccessful so far, in my hunt for a Bedford Freeway. However, I am the current high bidder on a cf1 on eBay! ..... Still a few days to go. Dormobile Roof Hi Guys,I've got a 72 Dormobile which I initially bought for spares not knowing it was a Dormobile conversion. Since then I had the idea of getting another van with a better body (this one is totally rotten) and put the Dormobile roof on it. I have the front section and know a couple of people who make fibre glass car parts etc. I can find out how much it would be to get a mould made of it and then make a few if the interest is there. I wouldn't want to sell just the front part of the Dormobile roof. Dormobile still exist and are not to far from me in Romsey/Hampshire. I might even contact them to see if they would be interested in remaking them as they still make the pop up roofs for VW Splits and Bays and Land Rovers. Cheers Frank

Maybe this is of interest to you? :- LOOKING FOR GOOD HOME Retro 1982 Bedford CF250 Campervan for sale, mileage 63,000. Sleeps 2-4 (2 comfortably with 2 large dogs) has fridge, gas hob, sink, water tank. Awning and porta loo included. Has hookup. Roof goes up and there are 2 bunks (possibly for 2 children) Mechanics well looked after and regularly serviced, body work in need of some TLC. RoadTax Exempt, admin cost only. Used every summer for several road trips in Uk! Regrettable sale as increasing our canine family. I've spoken to Dormobile and asked if they still have the moulds for the CF pop up roof and front part, but they don't. If there is enough interest than they may consider getting a mould done for the front, but they would need mine as they don't have any part like it anymore. I offered it to take the mould from. However because of the cost to make the mould they would need a few definite orders to make it worth it so don't expect it to be a £50 item. Let me know if there is interest. Cheers Frank
