blade sharpning

Does anyone know where I can get a set of 2 planer blades sharpned?

I'm with Doug on this. Buy a good quality oil stone and you'll get a good edge and the stone will last forever.

I always used a diamond plate from Axminster Power tools to sharpen my blades, and made a wooden fixture to hold the blade at the right angle.

Thanks for the advice the main prob is getting the angle right.I think I will try to make a fixture as Mike says.Good thought Graham but tool station don't hold my blades as the planer is old,like me.(LOL)Cheers all and thanks for the coments.Jim

sharpening

Today I made a jig with the right angle for the blade and it worked I was making it to hard for myself.So thanks lads your help was great.Cheers Jim.
