Hello there!

Hello there, im Stacie and have recently become the proud owner the 1971 Bedford CF below. I've been sorting out the inside mainly, but I do have a few probs...well quite a lot of problems actually to sort out with the body work. I've had a look around the site and it's seems great, should be really helpful . Got my first MOT with it at the end of April so, im sure i'll be on here in the mean time!!

Anyway, look forward to chatting to everyone.

Welcome Stacie.
Looks like a good straight camper you have....If it didn't have a few issues it wouldn't be a Beddy.
Modern vans are generally a bit less trouble, but you have bought a classic with character....enjoy.
:D

Hi Stacie and welcome!
I'm a couple of months into trying to fix up my old beddy and keep finding more and more problems on her, but doesn't stop us loving her! Everyone on here is really helpful and quick to respond so sure you'll get her sorted. :-)

Hi Stacey, nice to see another beddy owner I have a 72 cf they have their problems but you can at least get to most of the areas and sort them without the need for all the cram,ed in electronic twaddle thats stuck in modern day vehicles.

Thanks

I've unforuntately just put it through it's first MOT with me, and it failed pretty miserably. It's in a body repair shop now, big suspension problem amongst other things. Once this is done though I-and a friend who owes me a favor!-can get to work on it properly.

Front suspension can need work after about twenty odd years, but it's all fixable.
Good luck.
