Very sad day

My Beautiful pop top was sold today and drove off with it's new owner.

Unfortunately I hadn't been able to use it as had been plannned and it just didn't make financial sense to tax and insure it another year.

I'm very sorry to see it go - my wife is celebrating to have it off the drive, and i hope the really nice bloke that bought it get's to enjoy it.

Was pleased it went to someone who saw it on this site rather than someone on fleabay who couldn't afford a VW.

Hope i will still be welcome here!

Craig

Silly question. Of course your not welcome. Go away
Everyone is welcome on this site. Sorry to see you've let your CF go. Hopefully you'll get another when the time is right although it doesn't matter what you drive you'll be welcome. We've even got Transit owners on here

Hey Craig - If they'll let me in then you've got no problems
I have never owned a Beddy.
However, I am on the lookout for one.
Only drawback is it must be an automatic, due to disability.

UPDATE Off to Hastings tomorrow (Weds) and hope to be a full Bedhead by the time I return home

Even worse news!

I e-mailed the guy who bought the van to basically say thanks and that I was happy that it went to a Bedford guy rather than a cheap VW guy - he mailed back to say that he was dead chuffed despite the fact that it broke down 5 mins from his house!

I feel dreadful, but hopefully was able to give some advise on how to remedy he situation. Mr RAC reckons the alternator has gone and luckily i left a spare alternator in the back of the van.

I hope it all goes well for him and he becomes a member on here.

Craig
