OK will send you a pm with my number… Actually, no, I have no idea on a value for the van, so how much would it be worth then, even like this as a project? ---------------------- | Thu 25 Jun 2009 @ 22:01 |

Thanks for that! I would be interested to hear from people if they have any thoughts on possible values for the van, as I might have to make some realistic/tough choices about it soon! Having a dream is one thing, but having two dreams might be stretching both budget and time! ---------------------- | Fri 26 Jun 2009 @ 14:15 |

Lenses are the same as I have on my Dormobile Landcruiser- There was a bloke selling bits of a Landcruiser on ebay a couple of weeks back might be worth doing a completed listings search to see if he still has any bits. ---------------------- | Fri 26 Jun 2009 @ 19:13 |

Hoses The 4x4 community use this man http://www.llama4x4.com/page10.htm Very helpfull, top quality and often cheaper than a local motor factor, he will make any size or type you want. Shoes and cylinders try local motor factors first, them Adrian Baily in leeds looks like he sells every thing ---------------------- | Tue 30 Jun 2009 @ 20:07 |

Remember that the Beddy's are imperial thread not metric though. http://www.brakesint.co.uk/ is probably the best place for brake bits.......... ---------------------- | Tue 30 Jun 2009 @ 20:53 |

thanks for that OK, just to throw a spanner in the works, someone (not on here) has offered me £800 for the van as is, is this a realistic price for it as I have no idea (more up on VW prices rather than Bedfords!) ---------------------- | Thu 02 Jul 2009 @ 10:36 |

Seriously I would ask an ice cream man. The other way to look at it is would this be a profit and if so could you spend it on your VW and would the profit make a dent in the work required to make it useable, or just be swallowed up? I think it might be cheaper to finish the Beddie than the VW, if the Beddie could then earn some cash to spend on the VW. Having a car, a beddie a jeep two quads and 4 motor bikes I know all about it being a financial ballancing game, I have sold most of my stuff over the last year or so as I was just never going to finish most of them and just kept the above till the Beddie came along at the right price and I just couldnt turn it down. Oh one quad is for sale if any one wants it? ---------------------- | Fri 03 Jul 2009 @ 07:13 |
