shocks hi, where can I get a pair of rear shocks for my 3.5ton Bedford cf. the ones I bought from e-bay weren't up to the job so unless I can get a pair before Tuesday my holidays are off. this means this may be my last post cos I haven't told the wife yet![]() |

Shocks Hi,looks like you will need to go to your local motor factor. If they don't have them in stock they will get them next day.Cheers+Beers,Jim.---------------------- |

if they same length and same bush internal bolt diameter you can use them. even if the width of the bush is smaller you can pack this out with washers. you will find that the rear end will be much firmer though which is not a bad thing. |

I've been mulling this over and wondering if the existing mountings will be man enough to cope with "stiffer" shock absorbers? If the Nissan ones are ok and the mountings are strong enough it's good news because they are probably more readily available. Might be handy to have the details of the Nissan one put up on here ?
